The state cancelled the Request for Proposals that would have granted a 10-year license (5 year, with five-year automatic extension) to Smorgasburg due to the outcry of so many about how public space is used. The state has signaled there will be a food fair at Marsha P. Johnson State Park there this season on a permit basis. But the door is now open for a real discussion about park use. Congratulations!
